Aryan Khan drug case Live Updates: Ananya Panday arrives at the NCB office
The bail plea of Aachit Kumar, named by Aryan Khan in Mumbai drug bust case, is being heard by a court today. Appearing for Aachit, Advocate Sethna argued, "...I don't want to get into rhetoric. Let the evidence speak. Look at the corroborative material in the NCB file which connects Aachit Kumar to Aryan and Arbaaz about which the court has already passed an order."
"Our case is about common thread, it is about conspiracy. We have ample evidence and cases to show that all the accused are inextricably connected to each other. All arguments remain the same on which judgement has already been pronounced," the NCB argued.

Ananya Panday has maintained that she has never consumed drugs and that the chats with Aryan Khan were a year old. She said she didn't know weed is a kind of a drug, sources told India Today.
The NCB is likely to focus on WhatsApp chats between Ananya Panday and Aryan Khan. They claimed that Ananya agreed to arrange drugs for Aryan. However, it is not yet clear if drugs were procured. Also, Ananya has maintained that she has never consumed drugs and that the chats with Aryan Khan are a year old.
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede will question Ananya Panday during her interrogation.

Ananya Panday will now join the NCB probe in the Mumbai drug bust case at 2:30 pm today.
Sources in the NCB said Ananya Panday will join the interrogation after some time. She was to appear before the NCB at 11 am on Friday. However, she failed to reach the NCB office on time. Now, sources told India Today TV that she will join the probe after some time.
Nawab Malik claimed he received a threat call, warning him not to target NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede. A complaint has been filed with the police and it was found that the call was made from Rajasthan.
Ananya Panday has not yet arrived at the NCB office for questioning. She was asked to appear before the agency at 11 am. However, she has not reached the office yet.
On the first day of the interrogation (on Thursday), Ananya reached the NCB office with her father, Chunky Panday. Before entering the interrogation room, Ananya Panday was nervous and even cried. Later, she entered the room where the interrogation took place.
Although the NCB claimed that Aryan Khan had asked Ananya Panday to arrange drugs, there has been no evidence found that she indeed managed to arrange drugs for Aryan.
According to sources, the NCB showed Ananya her chats with Aryan Khan where Aryan had asked her if arrangements for drugs could be made. To this, Ananya replied: "I will raise" the matter. When confronted, Ananya said she was just joking with Aryan Khan. The NCB also claimed that Ananya and Aryan regularly talked about drugs on chats.

Actor Ananya Panday, being questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs-on-cruise case, has reportedly denied allegations of supplying or using drugs.
The 22-year-old Bollywood star was summoned reportedly on the basis of WhatsApp chats found on the phone of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who was arrested following a drugs raid on a cruise ship party on October 2 and has been in jail since October 8.
Ananya Panday was reportedly asked questions on chats that appeared to indicate that she helped Aryan Khan procure weed, say NCB sources quoted by news agency ANI.
"The chats recovered from Aryan Khan's mobile phone reveal that in the year 2018-19, she helped supply drugs to Aryan thrice by providing him the numbers of drug dealers," NCB sources told ANI.
The sources told ANI that Ananya Panday's name comes up in a chat that revealed she supplied weed to Aryan thrice including one at a popular get-together.
"Ananya denied the supply related talks in the chat conversation and told the NCB officials that she has never consumed or supplied the drugs," the sources were quoted as saying.
Ananya Panday's home in Mumbai's Bandra was raided by the anti-drugs agency yesterday and her laptop and mobile phones were seized. She was also questioned for two hours yesterday and was asked to appear again on Friday.
"We have seized both phones of Ananya Panday, which includes an old handset as well as the phone she purchased a few months ago. The phones have been seized to check evidence tampering," NCB sources told ANI.
Aryan Khan is in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail and has been denied bail twice. His request for bail will be heard by the Bombay High Court on Tuesday. Yesterday, his father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, visited him in jail for the first time.
The 23-year-old star son, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and 18 others were arrested after an NCB team in disguise busted an alleged rave party on the Cordelia Cruise ship that was on its way to Goa.
